Doctor frustrations

So, Lance works for Select Health and the other day, he was working and found out that all of the doctors in my OBGYN's office are no longer going to deliver at IMC.  They are going to only deliver at St. Mark's.   I'm not sure of the reasoning or anything like that.  Anyways...if we can't talk my dr. into doing anymore deliveries at IMC, then I'm going to have to find a new dr, which is very unfortunate.  There's no rush right now into finding a new dr. because I don't plan on having a baby this year or anything.  If anyone has a really good dr. that takes Select Health insurance and delivers out of IMC or even American Fork (I really like that hospital, but I doubt anyone else uses that one), then please let me know.  I hate to just go to some random dr. that nobody has heard of or anything.  Like I said, this is only for the future, but I might as well start looking into it now.

Jace and his puppies

Jace sure does love his puppies.  This picture is proof of that.  He's laying back on Whitey and decided that he wanted to hold Schroeder at the same time.  He's been going around picking up Schroeder a lot lately and just walking around and he continues to go to Whitey and give him big hugs, hugs that he refuses to give anyone else.  It's kind of sad.  When we ask him where Whitey or Schroeder is, he'll just woof.  It's really cute.

Babies!

So, Lance's best friend, Jeff, had twin boys on Monday.  They are so cute!  They are named Caleb Edward and Tyler Alan.  They are healthy baby boys.  Anyways...today they had a Birthday party for Clara, Jeff's 2-year old.  It's funny because 2 years ago, Clara was born on President's Day and then they had their twins on President's Day this year.  We were able to go down to Provo today for Clara's Birthday party and we got to really see the twins together for the first time.  They are so cute and so much fun.  It kind of makes you baby hungry seeing new babies, but then I go running after Jace everywhere and that's a reminder that he keeps me busy enough.  I don't need another baby quite yet.

I love this face!

I just love this face and those dazzling blue eyes! Where did I get such a cute little boy?

What doesn't belong?

This is my drawer that holds our measuring cups and all of that fun kitchen stuff. I opened it the other day to see a couple things added to it. What is it? (Hint...the 2 things are the same thing and Jace's hand is reaching for one of them). Where Jace found empty cans...I don't know. They must've been left over from the Superbowl. Jace is such a tall kid that I've been finding stuff in random places. He carries my kitchen broom everywhere now and I find some silverware in random places because apparently, he can now reach into that drawer as well. I guess I need to baby proof my house a little better.

SUPER Bowl fun!

On Sunday, my family had our annual Super Bowl Party. It ended up being so fun! Lance and I hosted it since we got out of church the earliest. It's so nice having a home where we can have a lot of people over and do stuff and we enjoy having people over at our home. Anyways, to celebrate the super bowl, everyone in the family gets to pick their favorite food or snack and then we pig out. We always have stuffed mushrooms, mini cocktail franks in bbq sauce, mozarella sticks, double-stuffed baked potatoes, and the list goes on a lot longer than that. Those are just the stuff that I remember at this moment. Then, for dessert, we have fondue with all the stuff to dip...strawberries, bananas, apples, cookies, sugar wafers, pretzels, etc. It's so yummy and filling. I think I look forward to the super bowl party more than a lot of things. After we pigged out, the girls hung upstairs with the kids and worked on a craft while the guys watched the big game. This was our first year ever doing something crafty, but it was pretty fun hanging out with the girls doing our craft. We made magnet boards and they turned out cute. I didn't get any pictures of it though. Here a just a few pictures in no particular order of what we did that night (and, of course, Jace refused to look in any of them. He's not a camera person).

Me and my sweet hubby enjoying the end of the game

Brynn and Jace playing blocks together building their tower. Brynn was trying to build while Jace was trying to destroy.

My cute niece and nephew enjoying their favorite super bowl food, fondue.

Our attempts of getting a picture of Brynn and Jace together. Of course, it failed.

Oh my...is my son drinking coke? Don't worry, the can is empty. He was just hopeful.

Andrea and Jace doing backward somersaults. It's the only thing Jace likes to do with Andrea. Jace just doesn't ever go near her for some reason!

Me and Cambree. She is such a cutie!

Me and my boy. He wouldn't smile, but at least he's looking at the camera. You can tell he's trying to push my hands down from holding him.
